Husky walk - Half day

A half day of disconnection to discover the experience of a pulled walk through Swedish Lapland nature with our dogs. Private & guided adventure for a full nice moment with our husky pack. Taste a traditional swedish fika included during the activity.

Experience the perfect day with our husky pack ! Start by meeting our fluffy friends and enjoying a traditional Swedish fika with warm juice and pastries. Then, take a pulled-walk with your new cutie friend, exploring the beautiful outdoors. Finish the day with a delicious lunch cooked over an open fire, in the cosiness of a wooden hut called grill kåta. A truly memorable private & guided experience you won’t want to miss !

Join us for a magical pulled walk adventure under the enchanting midnight sun as you explore the northern wilderness with our friendly huskies. As the huskies gently pull you along, you’ll be immersed in the stunning landscapes of Sweden, surrounded by the peaceful calm of the forest and open terrain, all bathed in the golden light of the endless summer night.
Your guide will share captivating stories about the region’s wildlife, history, and the important role of huskies in northern life, while you enjoy the beauty of the landscape and the companionship of these amazing dogs.
Midway through the hike, we’ll stop for a delicious outdoor dinner prepared over an open fire. With the midnight sun still shining low on the horizon, you’ll enjoy a warm meal in the heart of nature, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wilderness.
This husky hike is a perfect way to experience the magic of the midnight sun, connect with nature, and bond with the dogs. No prior experience with dogs is required, just bring your sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors.

What do we provide :
Pulling equipment
For activities that include a husky walk, we’ll provide you with a comfy belt and an elastic leash designed to make the adventure enjoyable for both you and our dogs!
Children will share a dog with their parent to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Fika
As part of our activities, we offer a Swedish fika. Fika is a Swedish tradition of taking a break to enjoy a warm drink and eat something sweet.
Kindly provide all relevant allergy or dietary information at the time of booking.
Mosquito hat
We can provide a mosquito hat to wear during the activity.
We recommend you to bring your own mosquito spray, available in the supermarket, pharmacy, and shop in Överkalix.

Exact location
We’re located 20 minutes from Överkalix. While some activities happen at our home, the meeting point may change depending on conditions, especially for husky hikes, in that case, the new meeting point will be sent a few days before the activity.
The exact location will be shared with you by email after the booking confirmation.
Most of the activities take place in our home, where we live in harmony with our beloved husky pack. Please respect our space and our dogs by not visiting without a prior booking, this ensures a safe and welcoming experience for everyone.
Children
Kids are always welcome to join the adventures ! Our huskies love meeting little explorers, as long as they’re kind, gentle, and calm around them. With respect and care, the whole family will enjoy a fun and safe experience together with our playful doggies.
If the activity include a husky-walk, the kids will share a dog with their parent to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Kids price are under 12 years old.
Child under 3 years old are free of charge.
Backpack
You’re welcome to bring a small bag or backpack with essentials such as a beanie, rain jacket, sunglasses, or other personal items to keep comfortable during the tour.
Solo travellers
Are you exploring on your own? No problem, solo adventurers are always welcome at Boreal Pack Adventure! To ensure you get the best possible experience, a small additional fee will apply. This helps us tailor the activity just for you and make sure everything runs smoothly. We look forward to sharing our adventure with you !
